EXECUTIVE CHEF - We are seeking an Executive Chef with at least 10 years international experience in Luxury Resort/Hotel to manage all kitchen operations and staff on a daily basis to ensure a consistent, high quality food product. Applicant should have previous 5 star resort or hotel working experience and high profile events organizational skills; culinary education/experience at properties of similar size and quality in the Caribbean. Areas of responsibility include overseeing all food preparation areas including Pavilion, Sugar Mill, Beach Grill restaurants, Private Dinners, Pastry, Banquets, Room Service, Bar/Lounge, and associate Café Melee (cafeteria). Additionally, work with the Food & Beverage management team and associate to successfully execute all kitchen operations; strives to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. Candidate should have financial knowledge analyzing P&L, operational budget and capex; knowledge of governmental regulations and safety standards set by the Health Department and must have a Food Handler’s Certificate. Successful applicant is expected to be visible in the operations on a daily basis providing direction and monitoring the entire “guest experience” and be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
