The Development Planning Unit this week continued to urge residents who have not taken the Population and Housing Census to do so as soon as possible.

Those residents should call the DPU at 468-3701, ext. 2175, to make arrangements for an interview no later than next Thursday, according to DPU.

They can also go to the DPU’s office on the third floor of the east wing in the Central Administration Building between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The survey takes about 30-45 minutes.

According to the Statistics Act, 2005, anyone who neglects to properly complete the census is liable to a fine of up to $3,000 and three months in prison.
