Three men and a woman were charged after a suitcase containing apparent cocaine residue and a box containing hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash were allegedly brought ashore near Road Reef on Friday.

David Hodge, 35, of Road Town; Chaim Todman, 31, of Johnsons Ghut; Elvis Thomas, 49, of Sea Cows Bay; and Preta Karran, 22, a Guyana national living in Long Bush, were all charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine to another. Messrs. Todman, Thomas and Hodge were also charged with unlawful importation of goods at a place other than a customs port and landing without leave of an immigration officer.

Each defendant pleaded not guilty to all relevant charges.
