A visitor to the Virgin Islands died in a marine accident in Virgin Gorda on Dec. 20, according to police.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Information office circulated a press release on Dec. 23, stating that 52-year-old Zdenek Tesar was a Canadian national who was vacationing in the territory.
The matter is still under investigation and officials are mum on details. Efforts to reach the police for more information were unsuccessful.
