The entry barrier and ticket dispenser at the parking lot of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport are being relocated, the BVI Airports Authority announced recently.

The work, which will be conducted in phases, is expected to take at least three weeks to complete, during which time it may be necessary to reroute traffic, according to the BVIAA. After the works are completed, the entry barrier and ticket dispenser will be situated to the left of the sign at the entrance to the terminal building, and the exit road to Trellis Bay will be inaccessible. The parking rates will be unchanged, according to the BVIAA. Works are to be complete and the new entry barrier in place by Oct. 1.
