Police are investigating a robbery at the Road Town Bobby’s Supermarket that occurred shortly before midnight on Sunday, according to acting Police Information Officer Carl Mason.

 

Two masked men were reported to have held up staff and security officers at gunpoint before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.

Mr. Mason said that the two men escaped before police arrived, and that there were no injuries in the incident.

He added that the offenders were both described as short in height and dressed in black, with what appeared to be T-shirts over their heads with eyeholes cut out.

The information officer said that the investigation is ongoing, and he asked that people with knowledge about the incident contact the Intelligence Unit at 468-9339, the Criminal Investigations Unit at 494-3822, or Crime Stoppers in Miami at 800-8477.
