The Cayman Islands complaints commissioner is to arrive in the territory this evening for a visit that will include working with the police.

Nicola Williams, the vice president of the Caribbean Ombudsman Association, is a former commissioner on the Independent Police Complaints Commission in the United Kingdom.

Here, she will give presentations on handling complaints to members of the Police Service Commission and senior police officers, according to the Virgin Islands Complaints Commission.

On Thursday, she is to make a presentation to government heads of department and the Rotary Club of Tortola before meeting with staff at the VI Complaints Commission.

Ms. Williams also will call on Governor Boyd McCleary, Premier Ralph O’Neal, Deputy Governor Inez Archibald, Deputy Premier Dancia Penn, and others.

On Friday evening, she is scheduled to appear on Douglas Wheatley’s radio call-in programme on ZBVI.
