While performing his final piece at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College

on Saturday, Corky Siegel left the stage and walked through the audience playing his harmonica.

The musician then returned to the stage, knelt down and played for almost a minute before lying flat on his back and playing some more. As he finished, the crowd of about 60 people erupted in applause for the 68-year-old performer.

Mr. Siegel and his band Chamber Blues entertained the audience for more than an hour at the Eileene L. Parson’s Auditorium as part of the college’s Performing Arts Series.

By the end of the concert, the group had performed about a dozen pieces in a show that mixed classical, blues and jazz.
