A child and an adult are dead after a shooting Wednesday night in West End, police announced Thursday morning in a two-sentence statement.
Further information will be provided later Thursday, according to the Police Information Office.
The incident was the third shooting report this week.
A man was shot outside his home on Sandbox Road at about 8 p.m. on Monday, police said. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was being treated at Peebles Hospital, according to police.
And on Sunday night, a masked gunman fired shots into the air at a bar in Sea Cows Bay before stealing an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The man, who was alone, entered from the back of Isabella Bar at around 10 p.m., with his face partially covered and wearing a red shirt, according to police.
