Transformation Church International wrapped up a week of celebrating its fifth anniversary Friday. During the afternoon, about a dozen organisations attended a trade show for businesses to offer their goods directly to the public.

Businesswomen like Arona George, who runs a landscaping company, shared their wares and their experience. Ms. George demonstrated how to graft a hibiscus plant for about 10 other attendees.

Other businesses to attend included fellow planter Arona Fahie-Forbes, VI Books and Tings, and holistic health care company Essja Associates.

Celebrations were scheduled to continue Friday evening with a free concert in the park to be headlined by gospel reggae artist Lester Lewis beginning at 7:30 p.m. The evening will also include performances by Guyana-based poet Sammy “Muziq” Medas and St. Thomas’ Judy Turnbull, along with support performances by the Transformation Church International Choir and dance teams.
