As crewmembers of the Bareboat 11 winner helmed by Canadian Olympian and silver medallist Terry McLaughlin at the BVI Spring Regatta, we were honoured and proud to be racing against Virgin Islands sailor Dr. Robin Tattersall.
Dr. Tattersall, approaching his 94th birthday this year, sailed for the VI in the 1984 Olympics and belongs in your back page Sports and Recreation article “Top sailors compete in BVISR.” Dr. Tattersall is an inspiration to all who participated in this year’s regatta.
As Dean “The Sportsman” Greenaway, also a 1984 Olympian, said, “Find something you love and do it for life.”
