A book fair, a fish-pot-making workshop and a costume day are among the activities planned for Culture Week next month.

The observance, slated for Nov. 13-19, will be themed “From Whence We Came: Our Virgin Islands History,” according to Government Information Services.

The book fair, which is new this year, will focus on VI authors who have contributed to documenting and transmitting the territory’s culture.

The “Basics of Fish Pot Making Workshop” is to be hosted in conjunction with the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. Participants are encouraged to register early.

Other activities include a cultural extravaganza on Virgin Gorda, a “Wear a Cultural Costume Day,” and the Fifth Annual Virgin Islands Fungi Fest.
