A decomposing body found Tuesday in Fat Hogs Bay is believed to be that of Franklyn Malone, of Virgin Gorda, though further forensic tests are required to make a positive identification, police said Wednesday.
Mr. Malone was last seen on Beef Island on Nov. 19, where he was preparing to board a ferry to Virgin Gorda, police stated.
While police are investigating the circumstances of the body found in Fat Hogs Bay, they are encouraging anyone with information about Mr. Malone’s disappearance to contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339, according to the press release.
