A decomposing body found Nov. 24 in Fat Hogs Bay is believed to be that of Franklyn Malone, of Virgin Gorda, though further forensic tests are required to make a definite positive identification, police said the following day.
Mr. Malone was last seen on Beef Island on Nov. 19, where he was preparing to board a ferry to Virgin Gorda, police stated.
While police are investigating the matter, they are encouraging anyone with information about Mr. Malone’s disappearance to contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.
