Isabelle George, a 16-year-old who reportedly went missing in July, has been found, while in an
unrelated case police continue to search for 39-year-old Dominica national David Sandy.

Acting Police Information Officer Sergeant Beverly James provided the information in a two-sentence statement in response to an inquiry from the Beacon last week. Ms. James did not say when Ms. George had been located or provide any more information about her disappearance, which was her second since late May.

As for Mr. Sandy, the information officer said that “neighbouring and regional law enforcement” are assisting in the search for him, but she gave no further details.

“Police have not made any arrests in the matters of the missing persons,” she added.

Mr. Sandy, also known as “Bobboy,” was reportedly last seen by friends at around 3 p.m. leaving Fahie Hill in mid-July.

He is described as having a fair complexion and dreadlocks. No description has been given about the type of clothing he was wearing at the time, though police said he is thought to have been carrying a black “soccer backpack.”

Anyone with information about Mr. Sandy’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 311 or 368-9339.
