Scores of preschool students gathered at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall on Friday to take part in the Early Childhood Education Exhibition.

The event was part of activities ongoing during this Education Week 2011, which is to conclude Saturday with bowling at U.P.’s Cineplex from 7 p.m.

The Friday exhibition started with performances by students, who sang, acted out a skit and recited poems.

Then they went to the back of the hall, where preschools had set up 10 booths that displayed information about early education.

Education Week started on Sunday with a speech by Education Minister Andrew Fahie.
