A 59-year-old was killed last week when the excavator he was operating fell into a hole on a plot of land at Paraquita Bay, police said.
Colleagues of Courtney Parsons, of New Bush, discovered him inside the excavator shortly after 1 p.m. on April 3, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Police Information Office.
“Details regarding the accident remain unclear, and investigations into this matter are still ongoing,” the PIO stated in a three-sentence press release issued yesterday.
They did not provide further information.
