Residents may have read or heard a thing or two about the territory’s planned extension to the cruise ship pier, but at least in District Three, they still have questions, said Julian Fraser (R-D3) in the House of Assembly last Thursday.

The opposition member said that’s why he submitted 14 questions prior to the meeting. Only five were placed on the Order Paper, the document that lays out the agenda for each sitting.

At the sitting last Thursday, Speaker of the House Ingrid Moses-Scatliffe told Mr. Fraser that she had informed him in advance of the reasons why not all the questions would be included.

Reached Tuesday by phone, Mr. Fraser said he considers the reasons Ms. Moses-Scatliffe gave him confidential, but he doesn’t agree with her decision. He added that he needs the answers to these questions so that he can inform the public about what’s happening with the cruise ship pier development.
