Shortly after 9 p.m. on Friday, police received a report of a gunshot fired in the Belle Vue area, according to Police Information Officer Akia Thomas. No one was injured, according to Ms. Thomas, who did not issue a press release.
“Investigations are ongoing,” she stated in response to a Beacon query on Tuesday following an online report that occupants of a vehicle shot at a scooter rider.
“Unfortunately, no other information can be provided at this time because it is an active investigation. No arrests have been made.”
