The Sea Cows Bay Harbour project, connection to a sewerage system, and a need for green spaces were among the many issues raised by residents who attended government’s latest “On the Road” meeting Monday evening in Sea Cows Bay.

One resident said that even those who live close to the harbour know very little about the status of the project or what type of development is supposed to take place there.

“As far as we know, the former minister had proposed a full development which 99 percent of us doesn’t know about,” the man said of D-3 representative Julian Fraser, the former minister of communications and works. “We would like to be put in the light.”

Ministers also aren’t sure what is happening with the project just yet, Premier Dr. Orlando Smith said in response.

“I can say this: We have begun to review what has taken place there,” he said, adding that government will “soon” be ready to make a statement to the public about the project.
