Shortly after 2 p.m. on Tuesday, nearly two dozen staff of the Public Works Department gathered under a tent outside their Baughers Bay office.

They were awaiting basic checkups as part of activities ongoing during this Men’s Health Week.

The health fairs began Tuesday morning at the Water and Sewerage Department before proceeding to the PWD.

Orville McMaster, a senior store clerk with the PWD, was among the first workers to arrive.
“I just want to check my pressure, my sugar and my cholesterol to make sure everything is right with the body,” he said as he stood in line waiting to get a massage. “With a job like this, you have to make sure everything is straight.”
