Meetings to discuss the government’s new health insurance policy resumed today at the Road Town Senior Citizen’s Centre.
Tomorrow the meetings will continue with an “HR Talk” session in the Central Administration Building Breezeway at 10:30 a.m. and a community meeting at the East End/Long Look Community Centre at 6:30 p.m., according to Government Information Services.
The meetings will conclude on Wednesday on Virgin Gorda with another “HR Talk” session at 6:30 p.m. at the Vanterpool Building, Conference Room B.
The Department of Human Resources is encouraging all public officers and retirees to attend the sessions.
The new plan, which raises premiums significantly for public servants, took effect on April 1.
