From the gate at the road to the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, the H. Lavity Soutt Community College campus was decorated with lights.

If anyone still didn’t feel the holiday spirit, that doubt must have been cleared up during the college’s annual Christmas Concert on Saturday.

There was standing room only at the show, which lasted for close to three hours.

The Brass Ensemble kicked off the evening with four pieces, followed by the Woodwinds Ensemble. Other groups followed, as did the college’s chorale.
