Chief Immigration Officer Ian Penn is seeking information on ten Haitians and one Venezuelan, according to a Dec. 29 press release from government.

“The matter was immediately reported to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force and is an ongoing and active investigation,” the release stated.

It did not, however, explain the nature of the investigation, and immigration officials could not be reached by press time yesterday.

The Haitian “persons of interest” are JN-Reynold Lindor, Dunel Gaspard, Stheker Regisma, Paulma Charles, Dieubon Francois, Migenson Lafleur, John Peter Louis, Emmanuel Theresias, Marcel Dieudonne, and Jean Robert Emojene.

The Venezuelan is Jose Rafael Bracho Montilla.
