Team INTAC continued its winning streak at the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival last week in three different events.
The team won the IC24 match racing series, the Racing B Class and the IC24 Division. The performance was good enough to earn its Melges 32 team the Best BVI Boat trophy.
Peter Holmberg was at the helm for Team INTAC in the Racing B Division and the IC24 match racing series, which was held during the Sailing Festival.
He said the match racing win was a good way to start the regatta and he used some of his match racing skills in the BVISR.
“It was close racing,” Mr. Holmberg said. “But we sailed really well. There was another Melges 32 and it was a bit of a boxing match to try to keep them behind us. It was tight at times, but we won every little scrimmage.”
