Open mic: The Virgin Islands Callaloo Poets will host their monthly Open Mic from 8 p.m. at Mellow Moods Café. Featured poets include Nuredeen, Sowande Uhuru, Mccabbee and Nana Ama.

Party: Jamaican dancehall performer Lady Saw is scheduled to perform at Crystal’s Night Club. The party will start at around 10 p.m.

Party: VIBE will perform at Mine Shaft Café’s Capricorn Bash, which begins at 10 p.m. DJ Push Pop will be behind the turntable. 

Party: DJs Bertrum, Kuga and Ah Milli Sounds will be behind the turntable at the Anything White Party at Da Basement at U.P.’s Cineplex. Tickets cost $15, and the party begins at 10 p.m.

Fungi: Local historian and fungi musician Elmore Stoutt will perform tonight as part of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College’s 20th Performing Arts Series. The event begins at 8 p.m. Tickets costs $20.
