Smiling faces took over the streets of the capital on Saturday during the Rotary Club of Road Town’s annual Kiddies Fiesta.

A light drizzle fell off and on, but participants held umbrellas and appeared not to mind as they strutted their colourful costumes.

The parade, which started and ended at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park, was themed “Embracing Humanity.”

Dozens of children were divided into different themes: love, peace, unity and happiness.

Event coordinator Gwen Vanterpool, a member of the Rotary Club of Road Town, said the event is designed to allow children to participate in their own way during the August Emancipation Festival season.
