A male was injured in an assault in the Long Swamp area last Thursday evening, and he was subsequently taken to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital for treatment, according to the Police Information Office.
In a three-sentence press release issued the same night, police added that an investigation was ongoing, but they provided no further details.
No updates have been released since then.
