A male tourist visiting the territory aboard the Norwegian Breakaway died suddenly on Saturday morning while in the waters at Long Bay on Beef Island, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
His motionless body was pulled from the water and several people assisted with CPR, Ms. Drayton said.
“He was transported to Peebles Hospital where he was pronounced dead,” she stated. “The cause of death is unknown at this time.”
Ms. Drayton did not release the victim’s identity, age or place of residence.
