A Long Look man has been accused of seriously injuring a woman by assaulting her with a piece of wood earlier this year in East End, police said.
Last Thursday, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department arrested Leonardo Frett, 64, and charged him with inflicting grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident, according to the Police Information Office.
He was granted police bail until his court appearance on Sept. 12.
Police did not say when the East End attack occurred or provide further details.
