Trent Harrigan, 32, was found unresponsive in his Slaney Hill home on Sunday, and was later pronounced dead, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said on Tuesday.

Police do not know the cause of death, said Ms. Drayton.

Friends of Mr. Harrigan took to social media to mourn.

“Some days feel more unreal [than] others. Today is one of those days. Trent Harrigan, my Libra brother, my hurdle mate, [I] swear he was one of the hardest hitters on the team and one of the kindest persons off the field,” wrote one man who apparently played American football with Mr. Harrigan in high school.
