Camillus “Jim” Paris was found guilty on Wednesday of indecently assaulting two young sisters and raping one of them in their Purcell Estate home.
Mr. Paris, a native of Dominica, is alleged to have committed the acts between 2007 and 2009, while staying in the home of the two girls, who were born in 1999 and 2001.
The older girl testified Monday that one day when she was home alone with Mr. Paris, he pulled her into his bedroom, pulled down her pants and underwear and touched her vagina.
On Tuesday the girl’s younger sister, who is now 9, said that on a separate occasion on a date she couldn’t remember, Mr. Paris touched her vagina, too, and later raped her.
Mr. Paris’ lawyer, Patrick Thompson, questioned that story in his cross-examination.
