A man was being treated at Peebles Hospital for minor injuries following a shooting on Monday, police reported that night.
Police Information Officer Diane Drayton said she could not confirm the place or time of the shooting, but that no arrests had been made.
Information from the public is welcomed as investigations continue, Ms. Drayton said.
