Virgin Gorda police officers recently arrested two men suspected of taking part in an attempted robbery on the sister island.

Everett Isaac, 23, and a 17-year-old male, both of The Valley, VG, are accused of attempting to remove a gold chain and other valuables from a man as he exited his vehicle outside his residence in VG in early March.

The victim escaped following a struggle with the perpetrators, according to police.

Mr. Isaac and the teenager both appeared in Magistrate’s Court and were remanded, police said.
