The Queen’s official birthday will be observed here tomorrow with a parade at the Festival Village Grounds.

Parade participants will include uniformed bodies and representatives from youth organisations, schools and service clubs.

After Governor Boyd McCleary inspects the ranks, there will be a march-past, followed by the hoisting of the governor’s standard and the royal salute given in honour of the Queen.

Police, prison and fire officers also will receive medals in honour of their years of service.

Music will be provided by the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College Jazz Band and the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Band.

The public is invited to attend the parade, which is to start at 4 p.m.
