Two separate vehicle collisions left three pedestrians injured on Friday, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.

Ms. Drayton said the first collision occurred around 8 a.m. when a 66-year-old man was struck while crossing the westbound lane of the Blackburne Highway near Caribbean Printing.

As of Monday, she added, he was in serious but stable condition at Peebles Hospital.

Ms. Drayton said the second collision occurred around 3:30 p.m., when an 18-year-old man and his 5-year-old sister were hit while crossing Waterfront Drive near Vanterpool Pharmacy in Road Town.

The 5-year-old was treated and released from Peebles Hospital, and the teenager received only minor injuries.

Officers of the Roads Policing Unit are investigating both incidents, Ms. Drayton said.
