A man received a non-life-threatening head injury at the Edge Nightclub in Baughers Bay on Friday, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.
Police are investigating the incident, but cannot confirm if the injury resulted from an altercation, Ms. Drayton said.
An online news site stated that there were reports of a shot being fired at the club, but Ms. Drayton disputed this claim.
“There is no indication that a firearm was involved,” she said.
