Police have been seeking public assistance in locating Kassim Bentie, 44, who was hospitalised after receiving serious injuries at an event on Jost Van Dyke on March 7 but discharged himself before receiving critical treatment, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton stated on Friday.
“Investigating officers are concerned about his present condition and welfare, and therefore are soliciting the help of anyone with information about his whereabouts,” Ms. Drayton added. Information can be reported to the Special Investigation Team at 368-9155 or the police access number 311.
On Tuesday, Ms. Drayton confirmed that the search was still active.
