Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Haitian national Genel Mauvais, who escaped custody while being escorted to the immigration office at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Feb. 27, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton stated last Thursday.
Mr. Mauvais was refused entry into the territory after landing on an InterCaribbean flight, Ms. Drayton added.
He is brown-skinned, slim built and approximately six feet tall and 160 pounds, according to police.
Before escaping, Mr. Mauvais “recorded that he was … residing at a residence in the Huntums Ghut area,” Ms. Drayton stated.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 368-9339.
