Police rolled out a new initiative April 7 allowing individuals to text or send pictures identifying people breaching curfew via WhatsApp to 368-9112, according to a press release last Thursday.
The initiative is intended to free up the main access numbers so that other offences can be immediately reported, the press re-lease said.
“Any information given through this medium is confidential and would be given the confidence of discretion,” the press release stated.
