Police yesterday asked for the public’s help in locating Arien Fahie, 26, who they said is wanted for questioning in the June 21 shooting death of Corey Butler near Scatliffe Alley. Mr. Fahie is slim built, between 110 and 160 pounds, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and dark-skinned, and he was wearing dreadlocks when he was last seen, according to Police Information Officer Diane Drayton.

He is known to frequent Crabbe Lot in Road Town, as well as Baughers Bay and the top of Belle Vue hill, she added. Anyone with information on his whereabouts — or anyone who has seen him since the June 21 shooting — is asked to contact the Major Crime Team at 368-5682 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.

Shooting

Mr. Butler was wounded in the Scatliffe Alley area in the early evening hours, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at the Dr. Orlando Smith Hospital, according to police.

Last month, police said Akeem Durrant, 35, of Belle Vue, had been charged with murder in connection with the death.

Ms. Drayton added at the time that Mr. Durrant was also charged with robbery and possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
