The BVI Football Association’s school leagues continued last week with several exciting matches.

 

Matches got under way with the Seventh-day Adventist School under-7s beating Enid Scatliffe School Teal, 2-0, with goals from Roeshawn Hemerding and Kevaun Glasgow.

Cedar White was awarded a forfeiture win against Enis Adams / Pelican Gate.

Joyce Samuel Primary School’s  G’Anton Grant scored five goals against Enid Scatliffe Red to lead his time to victory, 5-0.

Alexandrina Maduro beat Montesorri, 5-0, with goals c from Antonio Bailey, who scored a hat trick, Shamoy Smith and Jaheim Bajai.

Enid Scatliffe Maroons scored eight unanswered goals to beat Leonora Delville.

Mario Caster had three goals, while Ethan Faulkner, Khaleel Parkinson, Christopher Robinson, Elian Rodriquez and Khalen Parkinson all scored a goal in the win.

In the under-9s division, Cedar Green beat Bregado Flax, 2-0, on goals from Alex Fountain in the 3rd and 18th minute

Deshaun Richardson’s hat trick (8th, 14th and 17th minutes) led Robinson O’Neal primary school to a 5-0 win over Enis Adams Primary on Tuesday at Baughers Bay. Malique Baptiste also scored in the victory.

Also in Group A, Bregado Flax beat Cedar White with Tikhai Richardson netting a goal and Kyreek Gardiner contributing a score in the win.

In Group B, AMPS lost, 5-1, to ASPS. Marcus Butler Jr. scored three times (8th, 36th and 46th minutes) and two goals came from Allen Martin.

Alonzo Baptiste scored for AMPS.

The week’s final match featured Leonora Delville beating Bregado Flax, 2-1, with a goal each from Sinclair Charles and Aniah George.

Shondah Streete scored for BFEC.

In the LIME High School Girls League, Elmore Stoutt beat the Seventh-day Adventists. Laresha Martin led her team with five goals in the win, while Amber Penn scored twice and Gabriella Dawson had one goal, before keeper Akira Phillip finished off the scoring in the last minute from the penalty spot.

Games continue this weekend.
