The Scout Enrichment Retreat started as a weekend event last year, but Scout Leader Theodore James decided to expand it this year, according to a press release from the group.

Under the theme “Living a Purpose Driven Life,” the group attended sessions including “The Present State of Man” and “Financial Stewardship,” hosted by Minister Melvin Turnbull, and “Treating her Right,” presented by Minister Da-Ana Samuels.

Mr. James also covered topics including “Man’s Purpose” and “Internet Safety and Responsibility.”

Community outreach activities included an environment cleanup and reading to the children at the Tiny Tots Day Care and Pre-School.

The Scouts also joined the youth of the Cane Garden Bay Baptist Church at their Friday Youth Service and their Sunday worship service.

The retreat was held from March 31 to April 6.
