Security guard Keithley Liburd, 47, of Lower Estate, was charged on Jan. 11 with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after escorting a female employee out of the Purcell Estate bar where he was working, Police Information Officer Diane Drayton stated on Jan. 12.
The charge stemmed from an altercation, captured on video, that started as Mr. Liburd was removing the woman from the bar, Ms. Drayton stated.
The woman later filed a complaint against Mr. Liburd, Ms. Drayton stated.
Mr. Liburd was granted bail of $3,000 with a signed surety to appear before Magistrates’ Court on March 1, Ms. Drayton added.
