Children between the ages of 3 and 5 can access daily learning sessions and meals from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at centres that will be set up around the territory, government announced Friday afternoon.

The service will be provided up to Nov. 6, the start of the new academic term, according to a statement from Government Information Services.

“It is anticipated that by this date, enough early childhood centres would have had a chance to reopen and be able to accommodate the younger children,” the announcement stated.

No further details were provided.
