Following investigations into a Feb. 4 shooting in Cane Garden Bay and the Feb. 9 armed robbery of Aladdin Store in Road Town, police carried out a “targeted early-morning operation” Tuesday and arrested “multiple” people, according to the Police Information Office.
The suspects were taken to the Road Town Police Station for questioning as investigations continued police said in a Tuesday statement.
The statement did not provide further details or name any of the detainees, and no charges were announced as of Beacon press time yesterday afternoon.
Police are urging witnesses to come forward with any information about the Feb. 4 shooting or the Feb 9 robbery.
