Shots were fired after 6 p.m. Sunday in Cane Garden Bay, police announced about two hours later in a three-sentence WhatsApp message.
“Details surrounding the incident are unclear,” the message stated. “More information will be provided as they [sic] become available.”
However, police had provided no further information about the incident as of press time yesterday afternoon.
They did not say if anyone had been injured, how many shots had been fired, if any suspects were in custody, or if investigations were under way.
