Virgin Islands resident Adrian Stinton won the Grey Goose Cup golf tournament held on July 27 at Mahogany Run in St. Thomas.

Mr. Sinton won with 38 points.

“He kind of ran away with the tournament,” said an organiser.

John Schultheiss finished with 32, while Brian Gandey came in third with 31 points.

In the past, Mr. Stinton has come close to winning other VI tournaments. He attributed part of his success to his swing coach, Sarah, who has been coaching him Mr. Stinton on his game, and accompanied him during his round.

The tournament  used the stable ford points scoring system.

Closest to the pin on the par three holes were won by James Burgess, Roan Thornton, David Morris, Mr. Schultheiss and Dr. Glenn Moore.

Longest Drive prizes went to Dr. Moore and Kevin Wrigley.

All the prize winners won a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka.

The next VI golf tournament will be the BVI Invitational on Nov. 13.
