Dressed in tutus, butterfly wings, crowns and other costume accessories, students and staff of the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School marched through Sea Cows Bay on Friday morning for their Vocabulary Parade.
The students were dressed to represent a word of their choice as part of efforts to encourage them to read more, said Principal Sybil Hodge.
“It’s a part of the Reading is Fun Week, but because last week was such a short week we decided to put it on this week,” Ms. Hodge said. “So we had more time to plan and participate in the event.”
