Six students from the Enis Adams Primary School Dance Troupe will serve as cultural ambassadors for the Virgin Islands in the days leading up to the London Olympics.

During a press briefing Monday at the Central Administration Building breezeway, the group gave a preview of the traditional dances they will perform overseas.

The students are scheduled to leave the territory on Saturday and to return on July 25, two days before the start of the Olympics. During their time in the United Kingdom, they will entertain guests at several events to be organised by the BVI London Office, officials said.

They will also get to spend some time with host families in Hertfordshire County.

Ephraim Penn, president of the BVI Olympic Committee, congratulated the students and encouraged them to be good ambassadors.
